We are looking for a high-caliber technical mentor to bridge the gap between theoretical coding and real-world hardware application. This role focuses on guiding a student through the lifecycle of creative electronics projects, moving beyond simulation into practical firmware development on physical development boards.
Core Responsibilities:
Hands-on Project Guidance: Lead the student through the full development cycle, from initial concept to a functional hardware prototype.
Dual-Language Firmware Instruction: Deliver expert training in advanced C++ for performance-critical tasks and Python (MicroPython/CircuitPython) for agile development.
Protocol Mastery: Educate the student on peripheral communication, specifically focusing on GPIO, I2C, SPI, and UART interfaces.
Architecture Literacy: Break down the internal structures of PCBs and popular boards like STM32, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi Pico.
Advanced Debugging: Demonstrate professional-grade troubleshooting using both software tools and hardware analysis equipment.
Candidate Criteria:
Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in C++ (templates and pointers) and Python.
Environment: Mastery of PlatformIO, VS Code (ESP-IDF), or Arduino IDE.
Education: Background in ECE, Computer Science, or equivalent engineering fields.
Portfolio: Evidence of previous work in IoT, robotics, or custom hardware automation.
Goal: To empower the student to design independent firmware and confidently transition from breadboard prototypes to integrated PCB systems.
