We are seeking a dedicated and engaging Online Tutor in India. This role focuses on delivering high-quality education to 10th-grade CBSE students, helping them master the complexities of Mathematics and Science while preparing them for their board examinations.
Job Summary
Job Title: Online Tutor (10th CBSE)
Location: $city_name (Remote/Online)
Job Type: Full-time
Subjects: Mathematics and Science
Compensation: ₹1,200 per 2-hour session | ₹1,400 per 3-hour session
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct interactive online sessions for 10th-grade students following the CBSE curriculum.
Simplify complex concepts in Algebra, Geometry, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Develop customized lesson plans and provide practice materials, including previous years’ question papers.
Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to parents.
Maintain a flexible schedule for 2–3 hours of instruction daily between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology), or Education (B.Ed).
Thorough understanding of the latest CBSE Class 10 exam patterns and marking schemes.
Access to a high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional environment for conducting classes.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in using digital teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Pentabs, or Whiteboards).
Ability to make virtual learning engaging and relatable through real-world examples.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
Experience
