A unique opportunity has opened for a patient and observant educator to work as a Shadow Teacher for a high-achieving 7th-grade student. Unlike traditional tutoring, this role takes place within the school environment to ensure the student remains engaged and comfortable during their lessons. Your primary objective is to act as a bridge between the student, their peers, and the faculty.
Job Details
- Position: School-based Shadow Teacher.
- Work Hours: 8:15 AM – 2:45 PM (Standard School Hours).
- Student Profile: Academically strong; needs minor support with focus and social cues.
- Primary Duty: Encouraging active participation in school activities and maintaining focus.
- Monthly Pay: 25,000 INR.
Tutor Requirements Candidates must be punctual, reliable, and professional, as they will be representing themselves within a formal school setting. Prior experience working with middle-school children or as a shadow teacher is highly preferred.
Skills
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Kannada) to facilitate smooth communication.
- Ability to provide “minimal guidance” without over-assisting an academically capable student.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to various classroom environments and teaching styles.
