Tutor/Teacher Terms and Conditions

The payment terms of Crazywhiz home tuition consultancy may vary depending on the policies of the consultancy and the agreement between the consultancy and the Tutor. However, some the following payment terms for home tuition services are applicable:

  1. Registration fee: We won’t charge any registration fee or consultancy fee for providing the services. We take service charge only after providing our service.
  2. Commission Charge: We charge a one time commission fee (50% of first month tuition fee) for each tuition we offer. We directly collect first month fee as advance from parent/student,  hence we will only pay your first month tuition fee after deducting our commission.
  3. Fee Calculation: Monthly fee is calculated based on number of classes/hours taken per month, and the fee agreed at the time of demo class ie., either fixed fee per month or hourly charge. The calculation is also based on actual number of classes taken in a month. The tuition fee will be disbursed upon the completion of each month (agreed timelines).
  4. Cancellation of tutoring service: In case if Tutor decides to discontinue tuition services due to any reason, the fee will be settled based on number of classes/hours taken and shall be paid. But during 1st month, if tutor stops tuition without any prior notice to parent and to the agency (Crazywhiz), the fee will not be paid.
  5. Trial/Demo class: The Tutor is obligated to provide at least one free demo class to the student for the purpose of selecting the tutor. Fee will not be paid for demo/trial classes taken selection/confirmation process.
  6. Preparation/Research: The Tutor commits to carrying out all necessary preparation and research before each lesson to maximize the student’s learning time.
  7. Mobile Usage: Mobile phones are prohibited during tutoring sessions, except in cases of emergency.
  8. Advance Fee and Transportation: No advance fee will be paid to the tutor. The tutor is responsible for bearing expenses related to transportation/journey.
  9. Document verification: A Government-approved ID, address proof, and qualifications document must be submitted upon request for verification and security. Additionally, the tutor may be asked to provide previous student/parent references. The student/parent/tutoring agency retains the right to conduct background/reference checks when selecting a tutor for tutoring services.
  10. Privacy: Tutor must take prior consent from student/parent before recording any lesson/video if any.
  11. Performance Review: It is the shared responsibility of both the tutor and the parent to engage in discussions regarding the student’s performance and progress after the commencement of tutoring lessons, in accordance with agreed-upon timelines. These discussions are crucial for collaboratively planning the course of action, be it adjustments by the parent or the tutor, aimed at enhancing the student’s learning performance.
  12. Tutor must take/inform prior consent from tutor regarding any video/cctv recording.
  13. Tutor can decide to stop tuition at any point of time by providing prior notice.
  14. Any concerns should be communicated directly to the parent/student. If issues persist, feel free to contact us for assistance.
  15. In the event of a failure to adhere to the modified tutoring requirements by either the parent or the tutor, it is imperative that such issues be openly discussed and communicated to the tuition agency. This is to ensure that any necessary modifications to the terms and payments are addressed for the continued provision of tuition. If a resolution cannot be reached or if the modified terms are not adhered to, the tuition may be concluded, and arrangements for an alternate tutor, if required, will be made.
