This role is designed for a specialist who can guide a learner through the complexities of cloud-native AI development, moving from data engineering in BigQuery to sophisticated model orchestration in Vertex AI. As an online engagement, you will provide high-level mentorship and practical code reviews from any remote location, ensuring the student masters production-grade AI workflows.
Job Description
- Curriculum Delivery: Provide comprehensive lessons on GCP infrastructure, focusing on Vertex AI pipelines and BigQuery ML SQL-based modeling.
- Project-Based Learning: Guide the student through hands-on labs including Model Garden exploration, AutoML, and custom training using the Vertex AI SDK.
- Operational Training: Teach MLOps best practices, including model monitoring, feature stores, and deploying endpoints for online predictions.
- Schedule & Mode: Flexible online sessions conducted via Google Meet or Zoom, focusing on real-world troubleshooting and architectural design.
Tutor Requirements
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and hold a Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Data Engineer certification. You must be deeply familiar with Python SDKs, SQL for BigQuery, and the integration of Gemini API within Vertex AI Studio. A background in computer science or a related technical field is mandatory, as you will be expected to explain deep learning concepts, neural network architectures, and hyperparameter tuning (Vizier) at an expert level.
Skills
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Expertise in BigQuery ML functions for regression, classification, and forecasting.
- Ability to explain MLOps lifecycles, including Vertex AI Pipelines and Registry.
