We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Female Cook to join our team at a ladies hostel in Machilipatnam. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals to our residents while maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare daily meals for residents according to dietary requirements and preferences.
Ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time, maintaining quality and portion control.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized at all times, adhering to food safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for groceries and kitchen supplies as needed.
Collaborate with hostel management to create menus and special meal plans for events or occasions.
Accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions of residents, such as allergies or medical conditions.
Train and supervise kitchen assistants or helpers to ensure smooth operations.
Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
Adhere to budgetary constraints while purchasing ingredients and managing food costs.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook in a hostel, hotel, or similar setting preferred.
Knowledge of Indian cuisine and regional dishes is essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent hygiene practices and awareness of food safety regulations.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
