Student Terms of Service
| Service Charge | The consultancy charges a one-time ‘Service Charge’ (ranging from ₹1000 to ₹5000 depending on the city) for facilitating tutoring services. This ensures our commitment to arranging a suitable tutor or private teacher based on your specific requirements. |
| Advance fees | Student/Parent need to pay the first month tuition fee in advance to Crazywhiz Tuition Agency after confirmation of the Tutor. Crazywhiz will pay the tuition to the Tutor after completion of one month. “Please do not pay any advance fee directly to the tutor, if paid, Crazywhiz will not be responsible for the same.” Incase if you decide to stop services in between, the advance fee paid by the parent is adjusted towards the actual classes taken by the tutor and remaining (balance) fee will be paid back to parent/student. |
| Fee Calculation | Monthly fee is calculated based on number of classes/hours taken per month, and the fee agreed at the time of demo class ie., either fixed fee per month or hourly charge. The calculation is also based on actual number of classes taken in a month. |
| Cancellation of service | Incase if the tutor decides to discontinue tuition services due to any reason, an alternate arrangment will be made with 7-10 working days. If consultancy fails to arrange alternate tutor, the fee will be calculated based on number of classes/hours taken and accordingly tutor will be paid. After settlement of tuition fee, any left out money shall be transferred back to parent. |
| Validity | The Registration fee is valid for one year and same is non refundable. If the Tutor stops coming due to any reason within 1 month, consultancy will arrange alternate tutor within 7-10 days (sometimes it may take 10-14 days). Failure to arrange alternate tutor within the first month, consultancy will refund the service charge. |
| Background Verification | After confirmation of Tutor after demo class, parent must request tutor to submit educational qualification documents (if required). Crazywhiz strongly suggest parents and Students to verify Tutor’s ID proof (identity verification), and address proof (if necessary) for background verification. |
| Student Performance Review | It is the shared responsibility of both the tutor and the parent to engage in discussions regarding the student’s performance and progress after the commencement of tutoring lessons, in accordance with agreed-upon timelines. These discussions are crucial for collaboratively planning the course of action, be it adjustments by the parent or the tutor, aimed at enhancing the student’s learning performance. In the event of a failure to adhere to the modified tutoring requirements by either the parent or the tutor, it is imperative that such issues be openly discussed and communicated to the tuition agency. This is to ensure that any necessary modifications to the terms and payments are addressed for the continued provision of tuition. If a resolution cannot be reached or if the modified terms are not adhered to, the tuition may be concluded, and arrangements for an alternate tutor, if required, will be made. |
| Safety Disclaimer | Crazywhiz operates solely as a consultancy facilitating the connection between students and tutors. It is imperative that parents/students undertake comprehensive background checks and implement necessary safety measures upon hiring the tutors. | Video Recording | Parents must obtain prior consent from the tutor before implementing any video recording/CCTV coverage during classes/sessions or any surveillance measures intended for the safety of the child. |
| Termination of Tuition | Tutor will have all the rights to stop tuition at any point of time due to any issue. Same way, if tutor doesn’t adhere to the agreed-upon tuition schedule and tuition requirements; Parent can decide to terminate the tutor any point of time by providing prior notice to the Tutor. |
| Communication | Parents are advised to address any concerns directly with the tutor. If problems persist, don’t hesitate to reach out to Crazywhiz help for further assistance. |
