Hi, I’m Avandhika, a 18-year-old tutor from Nanganallur, Chennai.
I started teaching while I was still in Class 12. Since then I’ve taught around 50 students at home, and many of them went on to score above 85%. I was in school myself not long ago, so I remember what confused me and what finally made it click.
I teach Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, Science, Social Science, Computer Science and Coding. My students are in Classes 1 to 8 and Classes 11 and 12.
I don’t like making students memorise answers. In the first class, I ask what you already know and where you get stuck. Then I go through the topic in small steps, give examples, and set a few practice questions. I also ask you to explain it back to me, because that’s how we both find out what you’ve really understood.
I teach in English and Tamil, and I switch to Tamil whenever it makes something easier. I’m free 7 days a week, so we can fix a time that works around school and tuition.
If you’d like to see how I teach, message me and we’ll set up a trial class.
